Video: Adorable Aussie girl with New Zealand parents cries over who to support in World Cup final
A young Australian girl with New Zealand parents was inconsolable as she considered who to support in today's Rugby World Cup final.
Annabelle Gatchell explains her inner turmoil to her mother: "'I really want to go for New Zealand but if Australia lose I'll be really sad ... and if I go for Australia, you'll be really sad because you're New Zealander."
Andrea Gatchell and her husband and are Kiwis who have lived in Australia for about 10 years now. Their daughters were born in Melbourne and see themselves as "Australian" (even though they are technically Kiwis - the Aussie government won't consider them citizens until they turn 10).
New Zealanders have been performing flash mob hakas throughout Australia as the age-old rivals prepare to do battle at Twickenham this afternoon.
