Stephanie Roche had to settle for runners-up position at the FIFA awards ceremony tonight, but clearly left an impression on both Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi.

The Dubliner finished as runner-up to James Rodriguez for the Puskas Goal of the Year award and while she has turned heads for her performances on the field of play, she had the same effect in Zurich on the two biggest names in football.

Cristiano Ronaldo claimed the 2014 Ballon d'Or, seeing off the challenge of his great rival Leo Messi, but both players had their heads turned by the Irish international.
