Shane Lowry shows Leinster loyalty with cheeky Champions Cup dig at Munster
Shane Lowry reinforced his loyal support of Leinster in this year’s Champions Cup, following a passive-aggressive tweet during Munster’s clash away at Racing 92.
Munster led 25-0 against Ronan O’Gara’s side in Paris at half-time, the world number 43 took to social media to offer a rebuke to a social media post which pointed out that Rassie Erasmus' side were 17/2 to lift the trophy this year.
The Offaly native said: “so if you put 20 euro on you will lose 20 euro. #leinster”.
He had earlier tweeted his admiration of flanker CJ Stander who scored the second of three first half tries. Munster have since added a try bonus point sealing score from Niall Scannell.
