It's a difficult time being an Aston Villa supporter at the moment and for one fan, the threat of relegation from the Premier League became the source of an unwanted Christmas present.

Manager Remi Garde has the unenviable job of attempting to keep the Midlands club in England's top flight and host West Ham United at Villa Park today desperately in need of three points.

The Villains currently prop up the table with just seven points, five adrift of 19th-placed Sunderland.

The threat of relegation is becoming a more likely possibility with every passing week and one fan posted a picture online the present they received as part of a Christmas prank, a replica jersey complete with Championship, rather than Premier League badges on the sleeves.
