Leinster's Leo The Lion takes on the #IceBucketChallenge

Leo the Lion has undertaken the #IceBucketChallenge in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association Ireland.

Dave Kearney and Kevin McLaughlin helped the Leinster mascot with his challenge, gleefully dumping a bin full of ice-cold water over his head.

'Leo the Lion' then nominated Ross O'Carroll-Kelly, the Shamrock Rovers' mascot 'Hooperman' and Ben Te'o.

Earlier today, former player Brian O' Driscoll completed the challenge.

His wife, Amy Huberman, was nominated by staff but has not yet accepted the challenge.

The  Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association Ireland (IMNDA) raised over €15,000 in the first week of the challenge.

Newsreader Sharon Ni Bheolain raised over €3,000 before completing the challenge on the Six One News.
