James McClean produces priceless response after being trolled by Sunderland defender
His antics on social media have landed him in hot water in the past, but James McClean owned Sunderland defender Lamina Kone in their Twitter duel over the weekend.
The Black Cats did everything but score as they were held to a 0-0 draw by West Brom at the Stadium of Light on a day when their failure to find the back of the net proved costly with Norwich's victory over Newcastle casting them four points adrift of safety with just seven games remaining.
James McClean was introduced with 20 minutes remaining in the game against his old club and he was jeered every time he came into possession.
The Republic of Ireland winger seemed unfazed by the treatment and launched himself into a tackle with Kone which left the giant sprawling on the ground.
Dismissing McClean, Kone took to Twitter claiming not to know who the Derry native was.
He wrote: "We deserved better (again) yesterday. But we finally did a clean sheet. By the way, who is James McClean?"
