The Premier League's new British television rights deal for the 2016-19 seasons is worth a staggering €6.9bn.

Here's a look at what else such a princely sum could buy:

Sixty-four Cristiano Ronaldos

Based on Ronaldo's value still being the £80million Real Madrid paid for him in 2009, you could afford 64 of the of the Portuguse superstar.

Five Buckingham Palaces

The Queen's central London residence was valued at just over €1.3bn, according to a study last November.

6576 Bugatti Veyrons

The mid-engine supercar was named Car of the Decade and best car award (2000–2009) by the BBC television programme Top Gear. Can command prices of up to €2m.

2822 years of Harry Kane

The TV deal could pay the in-form Tottenham striker's reported new weekly salary, believed to be more than €45,000 a week, until he was 2,843 years old.

Countries galore

Barbados, the Cape Verde Islands, Tonga and Gambia could all be yours, based on each nation's GDP as valued by the United Nations in 2013.
