Ex-Spurs star David Bentley fires three points on Crossmaglen Rangers debut

Former English international David Bentley made an impressive GAA debut as he fired over three points in Crossmaglen Ranger's encounter with Silverbridge last night.

The 30-year-old former Arsenal and Tottenham star had his first taste of a gaelic football game last night after surviving two training sessions with the Armagh champions.

He lined out at centre-forward and made a good start, slotting a fine point from play before slotting over a placed ball. Another score would come in the second period as he finished with a hat-trick of points to his name.

Bentley's foray in Gaelic Football is part of a new TV show from AIB called 'The Toughest Trade', which will also see Kilkenny's Jackie Tyrrell try out life as a professional baseball player in Florida, that will be aired on TV3 in March.
