Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher joked that he doesn't expect to see Jose Mourinho join him in studio following the Chelsea manager's comments today.

Mourinho has hit back at criticism from Carragher and fellow pundit Graeme Souness following Chelsea's exit from the Champions League this week. Both were unimpressed regarding the behaviour of his players versus Paris Saint-Germain.

Nine of Mourinho's players had confronted referee Bjorn Kuipers about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's tackle on Oscar that led to a straight red card for the Sweden international.

"The world is a bit strange, maybe because of diet and the quality of product we are eating, memories are getting shorter," said Mourinho today.

"When Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness are speaking about it it's because they're having a problem for sure.

"Jamie stopped to play a couple of years ago and in two years he forgot everything on the pitch."

Soon after the former Liverpool defender took to Twitter to make light of the public spat.

"Doesn't look like I'll get Jose on MNF," he posted on his account.
