Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at Real Madrid’s training ground after showing off his £330,000 white Rolls-Royce Ghost, having posted a picture on his Instagram page.
Ronaldo was all smiles as he got into the 155mph supercar on Wednesday morning, although you’d expect nothing else from the three-time Ballon d’Or winner who earns close to that amount every week.
The Portuguese superstar was on target once again on Sunday as he netted his 30th goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Villarreal, with Real failing to seize the chance to go four points clear of rivals Barcelona.
Ronaldo needs just one more goal to match his La Liga haul from last season, and with 12 games left to play this season the likelihood is that he will smash through that landmark on the way to another incredible season in front of goal.
As for Real’s fate, it could swing on the result when they travel to the Nou Camp on 22 March, with just two points separating the two sides and Atletico Madrid looking down and out in their defence of the title they won last season.
Real also have the Champions League last-16 second-leg against Schalke to deal with, which they should come through having secured a 2-0 victory at the Veltins Arena in Germany to put them on the front-foot.
