Brazilian World Cup winning coach poses for selfies on a public bus in Derry
He is a World Cup winning manager, former Chelsea boss and is currently working in the cash rich land of China - but Big Phil Scolari was spotted on a public bus in Derry this week.
The 68-year-old led Brazil to the World Cup in Japan and Korea in 2002, managed Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal for the 2004 European Championships and was in the hotseat at Chelsea from July 2008 until February 2009.
Currently in charge of Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC in China, one would be forgiven for wondering what exactly Big Phil was doing in Derry?
According to the Derry Journal, he was spotted on the 212 Translink Goldline service from the bus station on Foyle Street to the Europa bus station in Belfast on Monday and is in the county to visit his son who works there and attends college at Queen's University in Belfast.
