Paddy Power are offering even money odds on Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill walking out on another interview RTE soccer correspondent Tony O'Donoghue on Friday night.

There have been a number of frosty exchanges between the pair in recent times.

The Derry native walked out on an interview with O'Donoghue following Ireland's heavy 5-1 defeat to Denmark in a World Cup qualifier last November.

At the draw for the UEFA Nations League back in January, O'Neill accused the journalist of a 'real verbal attack' in the November exchange.

It’s also short odds at 6/4 with Paddy Power that the Ireland manager will refuse point blank to do any interview with O'Donoghue in Turkey on Friday.

A spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “It looks like the writing is already on the wall for Ireland this Friday, with Turkey odds-on favourites (5/6) to beat us in the New Antalya Stadium. And although we will of course be cheering on the Boys In Green, win, lose, or draw, we’ll have the popcorn out for the post-match interview.”

It’s also short odds at 6/4, which represents a 40% probability, that the Ireland manager will refuse point blank to do any interview with the RTE soccer correspondent.

It’s a long-shot at 66/1 that O’Neill will have a complete change of heart, and apologise to O'Donoghue.

The odds being offered by Paddy Power:
