'Berbatov looks knackered from carrying all those duty free cigarettes for Wilshere and Szczesny'
Dimitar Berbatov returns to England tonight in Monaco colours and the former Spurs and Man United striker has been a popular subject on Twitter tonight.
The Bulgarian spent eight years in England before joining the French outfit from Fulham last year.
Arsenal supporters were keen to remind him of his past with rivals Tottenham and his languid style of play has always divided observers.
One tweet managed to poke fun at the 34 year-old's work-rate while also referencing the recent smoking controversies involving Gunners pair Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczęsny.
"Berbatov looks knackered from carrying all those duty free cigarettes for Jack and Szczesny."
Here is a flavour of the comments on Twitter tonight.

Berbatov was let go for not being quick enough, despite being top scorer. Wonder how he feels watching Falcao and RVP upfront these days.— Imran Garda (@ImranGarda) February 25, 2015
Berbatov is such a classy player, he isn't lazy, although his own style makes him seem that way.— Chíp (@DiMariasChip) February 25, 2015
So far Dimitar Berbatov has covered 2 metres. One of those was to pick up the cigar that he had dropped. #ARSMON— Ladbrokes (@Ladbrokes) February 25, 2015
Berbatov's contempt for the act of actually playing football is really admirable— david hartery (@daithihartery) February 25, 2015
Thierry Henry asked on Sky if he would have enjoyed playing alongside Dimitar Berbatov. "I would have had to run a lot for him."— Tom Williams (@tomwfootball) February 25, 2015
Berbatov takes some stick but i loved him at Utd. Such a classy footballer. Frustrating but brilliant— Steve White (@SGCW7) February 25, 2015
