The Six Nations champions have landed back in Ireland and are set to continue the celebrations as they bask in the glory of back-to-back titles.

Irish supporters turned out in their droves to welcome back the squad after a dramatic day in Murrayfield that saw Joe Schmidt's side retain their crown after England failed to beat France by the required 26-point margin in a pulsating encounter at Twickenham.

The players have been tweeting their thanks to the supporters and giving an insight into the high spirits within the camp following the championship success.

"Been a great 8 weeks and what a last day to finish..thanks for the support throughout," Simon Zebo posted.

"Support and atmosphere was phenomenal yesterday, huge thanks to everyone who made the effort," lock Devin Toner posted on his Twitter account.

Sean O'Brien, who bagged two tries in the 40-10 win yesterday had a special warning for Dublin.

"Be ready Dublin! #lunaticsontheloose"
