The man in the middle of the picture above you might not know.

His Twitter handle is @gunnerpunner and he’s an Arsenal fan. The other two you might recognise; they’re Tottenham Hotspur players Andros Townsend (left) and Harry Kane (right).

It’s the North London derby on Saturday evening and this Arsenal supporter decided to mock the Spurs players by reminding everyone of the score in two of the last three games between the clubs (Arsenal won 5-2 both times or it wouldn’t really work). The players in the photograph were none the wiser so at least it probably didn’t ruin their enjoyment of the FIFA 15 launch party where the picture was taken.

The tragedy is that this is learned behaviour. Those who moan that footballers should be role models as kids follow their lead were right all along. Won’t somebody please think of the children?
