Wicklow defeat Kildare in a highly competitive game at Arklow

Goals from Jonathan O'Neill and substitute Enan Glynn set Wicklow up for a win over Kildare in a highly competitive game at Arklow. Despite having lost to the hosts in the Kehoe Cup, Kildare were on top and led by 0-11 to 0-10 at half time.

Wicklow started the second half well when O'Neill drilled to the net following a pass from Andy O'Brien, and though Kildare regained the lead with points from Conor Kenny and Mark Moloney, Glynn finished to the net for goal number two on 54 minutes -- the Garden County hanging on despite the dismissal of Ray Nolan.
