Vaughan sets tone for London cruise

London 6-20
Louth 1-10

They may have left the royal party behind back home, but London still had plenty to celebrate in Dundalk after a splendid display.

The visitors made full use of a strong first-half breeze to build up an unassailable lead. They found the net as early as the fourth minute through Henry Vaughan and they led by 1-8 to 0-2 at the end of the first quarter.

Kevin Canty and Patrick Sloane added to Louth's misery with two quickfire goals and London were home and dry by half-time, sporting a 3-14 to 0-3 lead. Sub Jonathan Maher bagged two late goals, with Martin Finn also rattling the net to swell the winning margin.
