Super Sweeney sweeps Johnstown to victory

Kevin Sweeney was the hero of the hour for Colaiste Mhuire Johnstown yesterday as he produced a brilliant display at centre-forward to crush Colaiste Naomh Cormac, Kilcormac.

The Johnstown men got the job done in awesome fashion with the aid of a second-half gale-force wind. They led 0-10 to 0-9 at the break and hit the net twice through Shane Donnelly and Niall O'Gorman.

However, it was Sweeney who ran the show and the margin of 16 points between the sides at the end was largely down to his display.
