HE MAY HAVE retired from the Cork jersey but former county full-back Diarmuid O'Sullivan will be wearing it again, for one night, next month.
'The Rock' is set to take part in a mouthwatering hurling fundraiser along with former team-mates like Brian Corcoran and Joe Deane.
They are lining out for a 'Cork Legends' team which will include Jimmy Barry-Murphy, Thomas Mulcahy, John Fenton, Tony O'Sullivan, Ger Cunningham, Seanie McGrath, Pat Hartnett and current county boss Denis Walsh.
They will face a 'Blackrock Legends' side in the final game (at 9.0) of the famous Cork club's Hurlathon on February 6.
And their opponents will be equally star-studded as Blackrock's own 'dream team' will feature Ray Cummins, the Cashman and Browne brothers, Wayne Sherlock, Dermot McCurtain, Kilkenny great Frank Cummins, John Horgan, Fergal Ryan and Eamonn O'Donoghue among others.
Meanwhile, Oisin McConville has confirmed that he won't be making any return to the Armagh football squad. There had been suggestions over the winter months that McConville was training with Crossmaglen Rangers with a return to Armagh in mind. But he has scotched those suggestions now and insisted it is beyond him.
McConville finished up with Armagh after their 2008 campaign.
