Premier minors will not be caught on the hop by dubs this time

IT'S quite a bonus for GAA supporters (well done to Croke Park, by the way, for reducing ticket prices) to have a minor replay on tomorrow's programme too. Based on the drawn game, there's a lot to look forward to in the Dublin-Tipperary rematch.

Tipperary were hot favourites to win three weeks ago and I felt they hurled accordingly, especially in attack, where there was a tendency for lads to let others do the hard work. Dublin's work-rate was much more impressive and very nearly delivered the big prize.

I suspect that the Tipp lads will have got quite an earful from manager William Maher and that they will be more focused this time, in which case they will probably win.
