O'Brien brace brushes Donegal aside
Wicklow cruised to their third win on the bounce with a comfortable win over Donegal in Letterkenny yesterday afternoon.
The Leinster side won pulling up against the demoralised Ulster team.
John Connors blasted the game's opening goal on eight minutes when he beat Donegal netminder Paul O'Brien with an angled shot.
With Donegal heads reeling, Wicklow continued to test their shaky back-line and on 22 minutes added a second goal when Andy O'Brien scored a fine individual effort to set up a 2-8 to 0-5 interval lead.
The issue was put beyond doubt when O'Brien grabbed a third Wicklow goal on 39 minutes.
