Mythen strikes floor Fingal as Exiles go on rampage
London advanced to the semi-finals with a comprehensive 18-point victory over Fingal in Parnell Park on Saturday.
The Exiles opened up an early eight-point lead thanks to goals from Mark Mythen and Tom Twomey and they dominated with further points from Martin Finn and the impressive Richie O'Connell.
Fingal kept in contention and were thrown a lifeline when Brian McCarthy goaled on 24 minutes.
However, Mythen's second goal approaching half-time ensured a six-point lead (3-8 to 1-8) for London and Twomey put the result beyond doubt on 43 minutes with a clinical finish before Finn added the gloss with a fifth goal on 50 minutes.
