Mulready goal keeps Saints marching on

St Caimin's, Shannon 2-12
Midleton CBS 1-13

St Caimin's reached the semi-final at Bruff yesterday when, thanks to a late goal by corner-forward Ian Mulready, they defeated Midleton CBS. Over the hour, the sides were level on eight occasions in a thrilling game.

There was no separating the teams -- 1-6 apiece -- at half-time, with Midleton full-forward Stephen Moore hitting the game's opening goal in the 8th minute. A ding-dong battle ensued before Mulready found the net with Daragh Keogh then adding an insurance point.
