McHugh runs riot in Easkey triumph

FOUNDED the same year as the association itself in 1884, Easkey produced a performance worthy of their heritage in Parnell Park on Saturday afternoon.

Joe McHugh finished with an incredible 4-4 of his side's total.

JUST hours before St Brigid's recorded their historic Division 1 triumph at Jones's Road, Setanta ensured that they weren't the only Dublin victors, as they narrowly overcame Cootehill in a thriller.

The Ballymun men had that little bit extra throughout and were able to hold out for a hard-earned, but deserved success.
