The Gaels started well, with Shane Lawless getting the first score, but Conleth McGrenaghan fired a goal for Creggan.

Then Lawless hammered home a superb goal from 40 metres to give Fullen a four-point lead.

Eoin O'Brien then misjudged the flight of the sliothar, allowing Conor Small to score Creggan's second goal. Oran McCann and Alan O'Neill exchanged frees, with Fullen ahead 1-6 to 2-2 at half-time.

But by the time Enda Lyons scored what would be Fullen Gaels' last point, Creggan had built a two-point lead thanks to McCann's free-taking accuracy. Further scores from McCann (two) and Small sealed it.
