Martin Breheny: Mystery of Dunne's call for players to walk the plank

WHO is Liam Dunne talking about?

"I just hope there are one or two fellas who have the cop-on to retire gracefully. I didn't need anyone to tell me when I knew my time was up. I hope they are the same. I don't want to be retiring fellas," he said.

It looks like there are interesting days ahead for Wexford under Dunne but what if some players incorrectly assume he is talking about them and announce their retirements? Could he lose lads he wants to retain and still have to retire others?

Here are the 15 who started against Limerick in Wexford's last game of this year's championship. Who is surplus to Dunne's requirements? And are they able to self-assess?

Niall Breen; Paul Roche, Matthew O'Hanlon, Keith Rossiter; Michael Jacob, Darren Stamp, Lar Prendergast; Harry Kehoe, Malachy Travers; PJ Nolan, Eoin Quigley, Stephen Banville; Rory Jacob, Gary Sinnott, Jim Berry.
