Maher fit to take on Cats
Brendan Maher will be fit to take his place in next Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final despite damaging his wrist in a weekend training session, WRITES COLM KEYS.
The young Tipperary midfielder was forced out of the practice match in Carton House where the squad were camped from Thursday evening to Saturday.
Tipperary officials allayed fears last night that Maher would be ruled out of action.
Meanwhile, Henry Shefflin and John Tennyson both came through another session in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening and that will increase their prospects of starting next Sunday.
