Lavery leads Queen's rally
Queen's 3-6 Longford 1-9
Two quickfire goals just after half-time helped Queen's fight back to win this semi-final.
Longford were in control at the break leading by seven points, with Cathal Mullane bagging a goal and Eoin Donnellan scoring four points.
But a change in the weather saw a change in the students' fortunes. Aided by a swirling wind, they followed up that brace of goals – from Donal Hughes and James Lavery – with points by Conal Morgan and Hughes to take the lead for the first time in the 39th minute, and never looked back.
