Last-gasp De Bhál rescues replay for Treaty
Kerry 1-10 Limerick 1-10
Caitrin de Bhál was the heroine for Limerick with an injury-time point to set up a replay.
De Bhál finished with seven points, and there was no doubting the most important score as Kerry's last-quarter rally looked to have snatched the silverware in Abbeydorney.
Limerick looked to have one hand on the cup when they led by 1-6 to 0-4 at half-time. They eked out an early two-point advantage, but two frees by Sara Murphy and a score from play by Jessica Fitzgerald edged Kerry ahead.
They didn't score for the remainder of the half, though, and when Elaine Kennedy's long ball dropped into the Kerry net, Limerick pushed on to establish that five-point interval advantage.
That lead was up to six approaching the end of the third quarter but Jessica Fitzell's scrambled goal galvanised the Kingdom girls.
Four points by Murphy from placed balls gave Kerry the lead but that dramatic point from De Bhál snatched a draw.
