Lar Corbett: While I'm at it ...
I'VE received a fair bit of 'feedback' since Sunday's Munster final about my distribution of the ball. One person even joked that the medal I'll receive should be the world handpassing medal!
The observations may well be correct, but I'd much prefer to be criticised for overdoing passing to my team-mates than going for my own score from the wrong areas, when it's clearly not on. The latter option has cost us games over the years. So, I'll take the criticism on the chin and be content with another Munster medal.
There's a five-week gap to the All-Ireland semi-final, but that time will pass quickly. One inter-county championship has ended -- now another is about to begin in the form of the All-Ireland series. This is where it ignites all over again and it's great to be in the thick of it.
It's been a good week for Tipperary GAA. The footballers are going great guns, the minor and senior hurlers won their Munster finals last Sunday and the U-21s are through to a provincial final. Well done to my Thurles Sarsfields clubmates Ronan Maher, Stephen Cahill and Conor Lanigan on their win with the minors, while Denis Maher hit 1-3 for the U-21s against Limerick.
