Kilkenny's strike puts paid to Cats

Dublin North left it late to grab the goal that earned this win over Kilkenny CBS in the Leinster Colleges SH 'A' clash at Ratheniska yesterday. Ironi-cally, it was Ciaran Kilkenny who delivered the decisive blow in the 82nd minute to put the Dubs into the semis.

Dubs' free-taker Paul Winters shot a dozen points from placed balls as they overcame a four-point half-time deficit to level matters by the 57th minute (0-10 to 1-7). Danny Lenihan and Winters traded frees before the end of normal time (1-8 to 0-11), before Kilkenny's goal clinched it.
