Kilcormac-Killoughey dealt major injury blow after skipper breaks arm

KILCORMAC-KILLOUGHEY have been dealt a huge blow ahead of their All-Ireland senior hurling final against St Thomas after their captain Dan Currams was ruled out with a suspected broken arm.

Currams, who scored the Offaly champions’ goal in the semi-final win over Thurles Sarsfields, sustained the injury in a challenge game against Kilkenny’s U21s.

The Offaly inter-county star is now expected to miss Kilcormac-Killoughey’s appearance in an AIB All-Ireland final at Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day as a result.

It will be the first time Kilcormac-Killoughey has contested the All-Ireland decider after winning their first ever offaly title and provincial title in their run to the final
