Kelly brace books Banagher final spot

BANAGHER College overcame 14-man Hazelwood College in Cashel to book their place in the All-Ireland Vocational Schools 'A' senior hurling final.

A brace of first-half goals from Ciaran Kelly paved the way for victory. But Limerick outfit Hazelwood were badly hampered by Barry Lynch's sending-off straight after half-time.

A remarkable season for Causeway Comprehensive School continued last Saturday when the Kerry trailblazers booked their place in this year's final.

Shane Dunne's winning point in the final minute kept Causeway's hopes of a dream double alive; the school has already collected the vocational junior title.
