It's hard to believe but the All-Ireland race starts tomorrow when Antrim take on Westmeath in Mullingar in the first round of the Leinster championship.
Antrim's move to Leinster hasn't paid off in the way we all expected it would but it was still the right thing to do.
When Antrim have a full squad, all pulling together, they are capable of testing anybody, but they haven't always got it right in recent years. They should be good enough to win this, leaving Westmeath with potentially just one more game this year.
The idea that by May 5, either Antrim or Westmeath will be guaranteed only one more game until next February is daft. Surely there's a better way to do business?
