hurling's lesser lights to be honoured

THE stars of hurling's lower grades will be honoured at tomorrow night's All Stars banquet after the Champions 15 for the Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher competitions were named, writes Donnchadh Boyle.

Champions Down dominate the Christy Ring side with four representatives, while Kerry, Kildare, Meath, Mayo, Derry, Wicklow and Armagh are also honoured.

Rackard Cup champions Donegal also have four winners, while Warwickshire boast five players on the Lory Meagher side.
