Limerick will be without the promising Declan Hannon for Sunday's Munster SHC semi-final against Waterford as the teenager is starting his Leaving Cert tomorrow.
Hannon scored 1-1 in Limerick's victory over Clare in the Allianz League Divsion 2 final and has made a big impression since been called into the squad at the start of the year by manager Donal O'Grady.
Centre-back Seamus Hickey, who has been troubled by a heel injury, is expected to be fit -- as is dual star Mark O'Riordan, who played for the footballers against Kerry last Saturday -- but Stephen Lucey is definitely out.
Waterford have a relatively clean bill of health and are boosted by the return to competitive action of Maurice Shanahan. He made an impressive comeback for the county U-21s last week after having the plaster removed from his broken thumb, scoring 0-4 from play in the Munster quarter-final loss to Tipperary.
