Gilmore gets ball rolling for Tyrone

FIRST-HALF goals from Gerard Gilmore and Conor Grogan set Tyrone on their way in Birmingham.

The home team produced a rousing comeback despite being reduced to 14 men when sub Mick O'Hara was sent off with 10 minutes left, but Tyrone held on.

Gilmore blasted home after 20 minutes and once Grogan slammed a 20-metre free to the net, Tyrone looked home and hosed. Damien Casey was outstanding for the Red Hands and, despite Kieran Courtney's late goal, Warwickshire fell short.
