Galway's Cyril Donnellan has confirmed he will retire from inter county hurling.

The 32-year-old has been involved with the Tribesmen since 2008 and was part of this year's All Ireland winning squad.

The Padraig Pearses club man has one All Ireland, two Leinster titles, two National League titles and a Fitzgibbon Cup to his name.
