IT was all so easy for St Brendan's CS of Birr as they emerged with an 18-point victory over St Mary's CBS of Enniscorthy in this clash at Kilkenny yesterday.
St Brendan's raced into a 1-1 to 0-0 lead by the ninth minute -- the goal coming from Eoin Dunne -- but they let St Mary's back into the game, with Patrick O'Leary nicking a goal after 13 minutes.
However it was St Brendan's who continued to dominate as they added further first-half goals, with two apiece from Andrew Connolly and Kevin Dunne, to lead by 5-7 to 1-3 at the interval.
St Brendan's added their sixth goal after 41 minutes through Dunne -- his third of the game -- as they marched on.
