'Dummy team' furore storm in a teacup
LIAM DUNNE seems to have triggered quite an amount of media angst with his dummy team named for last Saturday's Leinster championship clash with Dublin, which saw six changes to the line-up which had appeared in various outlets days previously.
Yet Dunne (right) argued, not unreasonably, that his only obligation was to Wexford hurling.
Anthony Cunningham, meanwhile, declared it simply impractical for Galway to name a team early this week given uncertainty over players' fitness.
So which policy would we prefer? Neither, apparently.
Time maybe for the Fourth Estate to just leave them with their secrets and desist from printing teams.
