Deise hit by brick injury

WATERFORD will be without Michael 'Brick' Walsh for the remainder of the National Hurling League after he broke an arm in the closing minutes of Sunday's defeat by Galway last Sunday.

Mayo, meanwhile, are hoping that Mark Ronaldson will have his personal hearing with the CHC later this week.

Ronaldson is facing a four-week ban from the date of his last game, the FBD League final win over Galway, after having his yellow card for an altercation with Ryan McMenamin in the game against Tyrone upgraded to red. If his appeal fails, he will miss league games against Dublin, Derry and Kerry.

Alan Dillon and Conor Mortimer have resumed training with Mayo after returning from their winter trip to Australia and New Zealand.
