Deane adds gloss for rampant Rebels
Cork 5-17, Limerick 2-8
Cork eased their way into the semi-final thanks to blistering attacking display that Limerick simply could not live with.
Two first-half goals from David Harrington set the Rebels on their way to a resounding 18-point triumph.
The visitors opened up a seven-point lead inside the opening five minutes at the Gaelic Grounds and never looked back.
Cork hit nine scores without reply at the beginning of the second half, one of which was a terrific solo goal from Ruairi Deane.
A goal from Danny Neville proved scant consolation for Limerick as the Rebels instantly hit back with a further two goals through Colm O'Driscoll and Deane with his second of the game.
Those scores wrapped up an easy victory for Cork, who advance to a semi-final meeting with Clare.
