Curran to bolster Rebel cause

RONAN Curran returns to bolster the Cork half-back line for Saturday's win-or-bust clash with Galway in phase three of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers.

The St Finbarr's veteran replaced William Egan in the Rebel's one-point victory over Offaly two weeks ago and now starts at centre-back, with Egan shifting to midfield, where Patrick Cronin loses out.

Otherwise, Cork manager Denis Walsh has gone with the same team and their opponents have named exactly the same 15 starters that racked up 4-25 when knocking out Clare last weekend, the first time this year that manager John McIntyre has fielded the same team in successive games.
