Cork wait on semi-final draw

CAMOGIE: The round-robin stages of the Gala All-Ireland senior championships come to a conclusion this weekend.

Champions Cork ensured their passage to the semi-final stages with a late win over Wexford last weekend and will be joined by Galway, Wexford and Kilkenny, who have a clean sheet from the qualifying stages.

Cork face Clare this Saturday (2.0) while Kilkenny travel to Wexford (1.30) and Tipperary entertain Dublin (2.0). The draw for the semi-finals will take place at Croke Park next Monday.

Meanwhile, 400 underage camogie players will be going pink crazy this weekend in an effort to raise funds for the Marie Keating Foundation.

'Pink Day' throws in at Thomas Davis GAA & Camogie Club, Tallaght this Saturday, with the finals taking place on the Sunday.

Twelve teams from the Leinster region will battle it out for the title of Pink Day champions.

It is hoped that over €10,000 will be raised for the cancer awareness organisation.
