Cork to play Munster rivals Waterford in hurling quarter finals
MUNSTER hurling rivals Cork and Waterford were drawn against each other in today’s draw for the All Ireland Championship quarter-finals.
Waterford were beaten by Tipperary in yesterday’s Munster Final, while Cork had a comfortable win over Wexford the day before.
The games will be played on the weekned of July 27/28..
The winners of Kilkenny V Limerick will face Tipperary, while Galway will take on either Cork or Waterford.
Earlier, Kerry were drawn to host old rivals Tyrone in the third round of the All-Ireland Football Championship next weekend.
The two big guns were drawn live on RTÉ's Morning Ireland today.
Kerry struggled to beat Westmeath yesterday, while Mickey Harte's Tyrone had a convincing win over Roscommon.
Meanwhile, Tipperary, who had a shock win over Wexford, have a home tie against Antrim.
The fourth round draw was also held live on radio.
The winners of Kerry and Tyrone will take on Clare and Sligo will face either Kildare or Limerick.
The winners of the game between Leitrim and Laois will take on the Leinster final losers, Dublin or Meath.
The losers of the Ulster final - either Donegal or Down - await the winner of the Tipperary and Antrim encounter.
