The first round of the Cork SH club championship next weekend has been disrupted because of the Rebels' Munster SHC quarter-final replay with Waterford, but not all the games are off.

Ties that do not involve any county players are unaffected and two games that involve fringe players will go ahead.

The Cork management have released Paudie O'Sullivan to play for Cloyne against Valley Rovers. He has been out for a year after a bad leg break but was an unused sub last Sunday.

County sub-goalkeeper Darren McCarthy has also been released to play in the Ballymartle-Courcey Rovers clash.

Munster Council is reducing ticket prices for the replay in Thurles on Sunday week (June 8) by €5 on adult tickets but only if they are purchased in advance. Replay tickets will go on sale from the usual outlets today.
