Clare's crop of talent could lure Fitzgerald

Still, O'Loughlin spoke of "progress" being made and believes the majority of Clare supporters understand that they are going to need patience. He admitted he would like to get involved at some stage again.

O'Loughlin has highlighted the potential in Clare with the U-21 victory in 2009 and the success of the minors in reaching last year's All-Ireland final guaranteeing that there will be a steady flow of 18 to 23-year-olds over the next two to three years. That would be an enticing prospect for Fitzgerald.
