Casey keeps Red Hands on rise
Tyrone 0-24 Donegal 1-10
Tyrone made it two wins out of two as they totally outclassed Donegal at O'Donnell Park, Letterkenny.
They led by 13 points, 0-15 to 0-2, at half-time after dominating the first half with Justin Kelly, Aidie Kelly, Damien Casey, Sean Og Grogan and Seamie Hagan all lighting up the scoreboard.
Tyrone stretched their advantage to 15 points, 0-18 to 0-3, in the early minutes of the second period.
Donegal did improve after that and a Niall Campbell goal on 47 minutes, which he followed with three pointed frees, and a score from Lee Henderson gave the scoreboard a better look to it as Donegal cut the margin to seven points.
But Tyrone, despite losing Conor Grogan and Marty Grogan to second yellow cards, hit four late points through Casey to pull away.
Donegal were reduced to 14 late on when corner-back Shane Gallen got his marching orders, also for a second yellow offence.
