JOE CANNING has been given the nod to start for Galway in Saturday evening's Leinster SHC semi-final clash with Dublin in Tullamore.
Canning has struggled with a number of injuries recently but has been passed fit to start at full-forward.
Tribes boss John McIntyre has also made three other changes from the side that eventually saw off Westmeath in Mullingar almost a fortnight ago with Shane Kavanagh and Tony Og Regan coming into the half-back line and Eanna Ryan coming into the side at wing-forward as Galway bid to reach their first Leinster decider.
The changes made were also the four substitutes McIntyre introduced during the Mullingar clash with Johnny Coen, John Lee, Kevin Hynes and Andy Smith the ones to make way on this occasion.
Ger Farragher and Iarla Tannian miss out through injury but hat-trick hero from the last day, Cyril Donnellan, continues at centre half-forward.
