Brosnan in for Kerry

Eoin Brosnan has been fast-tracked back into the Kerry starting team against Mayo for Sunday's Allianz League clash.

It will be his first appearance in nearly two years and though he would have been expected to come in at midfield or half-forward it is at centre-back where he has slotted back in, filling a key gap during Kerry's current defensive shortage.

Brosnan quit the inter-county scene twice before, first after the 2008 All-Ireland final and then after coming back but making only a cameo appearance, during the 2009 Munster championship.

Sharpshooter Bryan Sheehan is also back on the bench this week after his All-Ireland winning club run with St Mary's.

All-Ireland hurling champions Tipperary have named two league debutants in their team to play Dublin at Croke Park tomorrow. Paddy Fanning and Sean Carey start in the full-forward line in place of the injured Noel McGrath and Timmy Hammersley.
